Background
The 8th Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Workshop moves
to Shanghai. During the past 8 years, the demand for oil and gas
has become ever greater and application of new and existing technologies
essential to meet production requirements. This workshop will focus
on ‘Achieving Excellence in Fracture Design’. Topics will include
fracture design, proppant selection, fines control, proppant flowback
control, in-situ fracture conductivity and numerical modelling of
fracture performance. Attended by leading practitioners from around
the globe, the format of this meeting represents an ideal environment
to debate issues, renew acquaintances and further develop networks.
Student Attendance
As part of our commitment to encouraging student
engineers, FracTech Laboratories provides up to 5 places free of
charge to presenting engineers and their professors. Students will
give 15 minute presentations which will be judged by the audience
and the winning presenter will be invited to the 2008 Forum, expenses
paid. Contact fractech@atlas.co.uk for further information.
Language
The workshop will be conducted in dual English and Mandarin |
